Your Inner World Is A Universe Worth Exploring

Radical, direct, and affirming therapy for those who
value presence over performance.

Aimee has over 7 years of experience in a variety of therapeutic environments including: crisis intervention, SAIOP, inpatient psychiatric, Medication-Assisted Treatment, residential, and Federal Probation outpatient programming.

I offer free 15-minute video consultations to ensure that I pass the therapist “vibe check”. We will chat about what brings you to therapy at this point in your life, and determine the best course of action for moving forward with scheduling or referrals.

Click on my magical booking button in the top toolbar to be directed to my scheduling portal. There, you can easily book appointments, complete paperwork, and see my schedule up to 4 weeks in advance. I always like to make things convenient!

Do you take insurance?

I am NOT in network with Cigna, BCBS Healthy Blue, or Blue Home/Blue Local (UNC Alliance, NOVANT Health, Wake Forest Health). I am NOT in network with Medicaid or Medicare.

For new or existing clients who are not covered under the plans listed, I am happy to assist you in understanding and utilizing your Out of Network benefits.

If you are using your out of network benefits on any insurance plan, I will gladly provide Superbills as requested. A Superbill is a document you submit to your insurance provider using your Out of Network benefits where the insurance company reimburses you directly for the amount paid. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about Superbills and insurance.

Information on Good Faith Estimates:

Under the new federal law, health care providers are to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
